How to Set Up SAML SSO with Azure (Microsoft Entra ID) for Amplemarket

This guide walks you through configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML in Microsoft Azure (Entra ID) for use with Amplemarket.
Overview
To enable SSO with Amplemarket, you will:
Create a new Enterprise Application in Azure
Configure SAML-based SSO
Generate a Metadata URL
Share the Metadata URL with Amplemarket
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Log into Microsoft Entra ID
Go to the Azure portal
Open the navigation menu
Select Microsoft Entra ID
2. Create a New Enterprise Application
Click Enterprise Applications
Select + New Application
Click Create your own application
Configure the application:
Name: Use something like
Amplemarket(If you already have one, you can differentiate with naming like
Amplemarket - Prod)
Select:
“Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery”
Click Create
3. Set Up Single Sign-On (SAML)
Open your newly created application
Click Set up single sign-on
Select SAML
Azure will now generate the SAML configuration, including your Metadata URL
4. Copy the Metadata URL
Locate the App Federation Metadata URL
Copy this value
5. Send Metadata URL to Amplemarket
Share the Metadata URL with your Amplemarket contact (e.g., Solutions Engineer or Support)
Amplemarket will complete the configuration on the backend.
What Happens Next?
Once Amplemarket configures your Metadata URL:
SSO will be enabled for your workspace
You can begin assigning users to the application in Azure
Users will be able to log in via Azure SSO
Notes & Tips
You do not need to configure additional SAML fields manually for initial setup
User provisioning (assigning users/groups) happens after SSO is enabled
If you manage multiple environments (e.g., staging vs prod), create separate applications
