- Click on “Security” in the left-hand side-bar menu
- In your security settings, locate the section named “Signing in to Google”
- Click on the setting “2-Step Verification”

-
-
- Go to your Google Account.
- Select Security.
- Under "Signing in to Google," select 2-Step Verification.
- At the bottom of the page, select App passwords.
- Enter a name that helps you remember where you’ll use the app password.

- To enter the app password, follow the instructions on your screen. The app password is the 16-character code that generates on your device.
- Select Done.
If you’ve set up 2-Step Verification but can’t find the option to add an app password, it might be because:
- Your Google Account has 2-Step Verification set up only for security keys.
- You’re logged into a work, school, or another organization account.
- Your Google Account has Advanced Protection.
-
- Navigate to your Amplemarket Warmup settings:
- Click to configure SMTP/IMAP for your mailbox
- Fill the sender name - this could be your first and last name
- Paste your new password into your “Password” field
- Ensure that the email address matches your Google App's email address
If you have Less secure app access available in your Google Account
If you have Less secure app access available, you can follow these steps:

- Fill the sender name - this could be your first and last name
- Fill the password field with your Google/Gmail password
If 2FA and Less secure apps settings are not available
If you can't find either of the above options, it's possible that your Google Workspace Administrator disabled them. Reach out to your Google Workspace Administrator and review your team's security configuration.
