Duo AI Copilot: A detailed guide

What is Duo's AI Sales Copilot?

Duo's AI Copilot is an AI sales assistant that can scan the market for different signals of buying intent on your behalf. Duo will then deliver them to you on a daily basis with a recommended bespoke AI sequence so that you can reach out to your prospects at the right time, with the right message.

Here’s an example of what a Duo’s AI Copilot feed might look like:

 

What signals is Duo able to track?

 Duo can track an extensive variety of signals across different platforms — from job changes to engagement with competitors’ content on LinkedIn, followers of your company on LinkedIn, profile visits, job openings, reviews of your competitors on G2, people engaging with LinkedIn posts mentioning topics you care about, and much more.

Can I adjust Duo's AI generated sequences to my preferences?

Duo will always generate sequences that are personalized for each signal (e.g. if someone reviews one of your competitors on G2, Duo will suggest you a sequence based on the content of that review), but there are a few aspects of its sequences that you can control:

  1. Your value propositions

    If you go to Amplemarket Settings -> Duo Control Center -> AI Instructions you’ll see a text field where you can customize how you want Duo to introduce your products and services. You can even break these value propositions per persona or territory — when reaching out to prospects, Duo will have enough information about them to use the right value proposition accordingly. And you can do the same for case studies or testimonials — you can add them to your value proposition section, explain to Duo when each of them should be used, and Duo will include them as social proof in its sequences!

    Here's a short example:
    Amplemarket is the AI Sales platform for modern sales teams. Amplemarket leverages AI to provide Business Insights that will allow you to discover, engage, and convert your next customers.

    Here are our value propositions for different personas:
    - VP/Director/Heads/C-Level: Provide their team with AI super powers that will turn their reps into super reps. Discover a cost-effective sales enablement solution with competitor lead scraping and detailed buyer intent insights, supercharging your new business revenue while keeping your budget under control.
    - Owner/Founders: Grow your business with scalable outreach to your target market. Our platform is the first AI first sales platform. It's cost-effective for small teams, easy to onboard, and backed by a ‘Can do!’ customer support team.
    - Rev Ops: Consolidate your outbound tools and integrate AI and reporting analytics into one platform with native integration with Salesforce and Hubspot, simplifying your prospecting and sales engagement.
    - Marketing: Identify prospects engaging with your competitors to pinpoint ‘contacts’ with high-purchase intent, speed up sales cycles, and stay ahead of your competition with Amplemarket’s AI Driven Intent Signals.

    Pick the most relevant case study for each company from this list:

  2. Your tone of voice

    Still in Amplemarket Settings -> Duo Control Center -> AI Instructions, you'll see a second text field and this is where you should help Duo understand how you want your outreach to sound. Your preferred tone of voice, the specific sales methodologies or frameworks you like to follow and other pieces of information about yourself that will make Duo sound more like you.

  3. Your preferred sequence structure and content

    Still in Amplemarket Settings -> Duo Control Center -> AI Instructions, under the Advanced configurations, there is a third text field where you can be more specific about how you want Duo’s sequences to be structured. You can define the specific steps and stages that you want Duo to use. When each of these stages and steps should be executed.

    Here's an example:
    Here's the sequence structure I want you to follow:

    Day 1: Profile visit and like on last post

    Day 2: Connection request

    Day 2: A first touch email

    Day 5: A LinkedIn Voice Message (and write the message script for me so that I can just read it out loud -- write like you'd talk)

    Day 8: One follow-up email to give more context on our value prop and add social proof with quotes from customers and links to case studies

    Day 10: Follow-up text message on LinkedIn after the Voice Message

    Day 12: A final profile visit

    Day 13: One final email

    But you can also be even more specific and ask for specific copy to be used in specific stages, or for certain collateral to be used. Here's an example where we are asking Duo to always follow a specific subject line structure and to include a link to our sales deck:
    Subject line should always be: {{first_name}} <> Meghan

  4. How Duo positions your company against your competitors

    If you go to Amplemarket Settings -> Duo Control Center -> Competitors, and open one of them, you'll see that there is a Battlecard field. This is the information that Duo will use whenever it finds someone interacting with that competitor and wants to explain how your product differentiates against them.

Where can I see sequences sent from Duo and analytics on them?

All sequences sent from Duo's feed can be found in the Sequences page in the Duo Leads tab.

In terms of Analytics, the total amount of Duo leads sequenced, their open, reply, interested and meetings booked rate can be found by filtering for sequences tag with #duo-leads in the Sequences tab of our Analytics page.
