What is the Autopilot mode?
In this guide, we'll show you how you can go about putting some of your signals running in Autopilot.
The first thing that is important to understand is that there are two main use cases for autopilot:
-
Autopilot as a signal SLA for your team: By putting specific signals on autopilot, you can ensure your team acts on signals within a customizable timeframe. This functions as an SLA: if your team does not act on the leads recommended for the signals on autopilot within a specified number of days, the leads will still be sequenced, preventing them from getting lost in their backlog.
- Autopilot as a means for full automation: When enough confidence is built in the quality of the signals and sequences generated for specific signals, you can enable autopilot mode to fully automate this process. This allows your team to avoid reviewing leads every time some of your signals are detected.
How to enable Autopilot?
Follow the following steps to enable autopilot mode for a specific signal:
- Go to Settings > Duo Control Center > Team Signals
-
Open one of your signals
-
Turn on the autopilot setting at the bottom and define the number of days after which signals will be automatically sequenced
- As soon as autopilot is turned on, existing leads and newly recommended leads will now be added to the On autopilot tab on the feed's of the users to which the signal is being distributed to. Removing the autopilot option will make all leads go back to the Pending action tab.
