Overview
The Outbox allows you to reschedule emails to better control your email queue, ensuring the right emails go out at the right time.
Whether you want to prioritize high-intent leads, free up space for other emails, or send an email immediately, the reschedule feature helps you stay in control of your outreach.
Common Use Cases for Rescheduling Emails
✅ Free up your email queue by postponing less important emails to a later date.
✅ Prioritize critical emails to go out today, such as those for engaged leads.
✅ Ensure immediate delivery by sending an email as soon as possible.

- Choose a new scheduled time (Immediately, 1 day, Custom, etc.).
- If needed, check the "Prioritize" box to send this email over others already scheduled.
- Click "Reschedule" to confirm.
📌 Note: Rescheduling is not instant as the system will take time to recalculate the queue while respecting daily mailbox limits, sending windows, and throttling constraints.
How Rescheduling Works
When rescheduling an email, you can choose from the following options:
- Immediately: The system will attempt to send the email as soon as possible.
- In 1 day, 2 days, etc.: The system will find the first available sending window on the selected day.
- Custom: Pick a specific date and time, and the system will schedule the email accordingly.
📌 Important:
- The exact send time is not guaranteed. The system will send the email in the next available slot based on daily limits, sending windows, and other constraints.
- Rescheduling follows either the lead’s or sender’s timezone, depending on the sequence settings.
Example: What Happens When You Select "Tomorrow"?
If you select "Tomorrow," the system will:
- Convert "tomorrow" into a calendar date in the sender’s timezone.
- Find the first available slot in the sender’s or lead’s timezone (based on sequence settings).
- Schedule the email within the sending window while respecting daily mailbox limits.
Scenario:
- A user in LA (PST, UTC-8) selects "Tomorrow" on March 12 at 10 PM, which is interpreted as 'send on March 13th'.
- The lead is in Japan (UTC+9), where it’s already March 13.
- If the sequence follows lead’s timezone, the email is scheduled for March 13 at 9 AM UTC+9 (or sent immediately if it’s already within the sending window).
- If the sequence follows sender’s timezone, the email is scheduled for March 13 at 9 AM PST when the sender’s window opens.
💡 Takeaway:
Emails may be sent immediately if it is already "tomorrow" in the lead’s timezone ("may be sent" implies that other conditions may apply, we are just warning that there is this possibility).
Understanding Prioritization & Daily Limits
🔹 If the daily mailbox limit for the selected day is already full and the "Prioritize" checkbox is NOT checked, the system won't attempt to schedule the email for that day.
🔹 If the "Prioritize" checkbox IS checked, the system will prioritize the rescheduled email over others already scheduled that day.
⚠️ Use Prioritization with Caution! Prioritizing an email pushes other scheduled emails to a later date.
Example: What Happens When You Prioritize an Email?
- Mailbox Daily Limit = 5 emails/day
- Current Queue:
- 5 emails scheduled for today
- 5 emails scheduled for tomorrow
- 1 email scheduled for the day after tomorrow
- Action: You select the email from the day after tomorrow and reschedule it immediately, with the "Prioritize" checkbox checked.
- Result:
- The newly prioritized email is sent today.
- One email from today is delayed to tomorrow.
- One email from tomorrow is delayed to the day after tomorrow.
📌 Note:
that the new order of emails might have a bigger effect than expected, depending on the sending window of each email, causing a larger ripple effect.
