Removing leads from Email and Reply Sequences

You can manually remove leads from your Sequence. Any tasks or automatic emails associated with them will stop.

Steps to Remove Leads from within the Sequence.

  1. Select the Sequence.
  2. Search for the Lead in the "Contacted Leads" section.
  3. Click the "More Actions" icon (ellipsis) next to the lead you wish to remove

  4. Select "Remove from Sequence" from the dropdown menu

 

 

Steps to Remove a Lead from within the Contact itself.

  1. Go to your Contact Page.
  2. Search for the Lead by typing their name or email
  3. Open the Contact

  4. Click on Actions and "Remove from Sequence"

Best Practice: Removing leads can be useful if they are no longer relevant to your sequence (Example: When you receive a reply from another email address mentioning that they are not interested) or if they need to be contacted through a different approach.
