Amplemarket provides many filters in our searcher that allows you to file a lead list down to perfectly fit your ICP. Our newest addition to the searcher is our B2B and B2C filter which will allow you to choose between searching for either type of company or companies that are both B2B and B2C. In this article we will cover how each of these filters work.

The Searcher

If you would like to use this filter when prospecting, scroll down to the 'company' filters and select the 'Industry' drop down. You will see these filters under 'client focus' and the searcher gives you the opportunity to select B2B, B2C, or both. We attached this addition to the 'Industries' filter to narrow down your searches. If a user were to do an industry search on computer games, they could now distinguish between companies that:

1. Supplies softwares to other companies so they can develop their video games.

2. Sells video games to consumers.

3. Do both 1 and 2

There is a bit of nuance to the way each of these filters work, so below we cover how each one works.

B2B: Selecting the B2B filter will populate all companies that classify as a B2B and that includes companies that also classify as a B2C as well.

B2C: The B2C filter shows all companies that are regarded as B2C, including those that also participate in B2B selling.

B2B & B2C: When both filters are enabled the searcher will show only companies that participate in both B2B and B2C and exclude the companies that only sell one of the two.
